Roundtable on the theme "Rules for the Protection of Victims and Witnesses THB BiH citizens - Theory and Practice"

On the September 17th 2010 , with purpose of more detailed analysis of the Rules and their application in practice, the Association "New Road " organized a roundtable on the theme "Rules for the Protection of Victims and Witnesses THB BiH citizens - Theory and Practice".

ENPATES AND LSI platforms held in Rome from april 5-7, 2011

Representatives of the Association New Road BiH attended the ENPATES (European platform of NGOs against trafficking, exploitation and slavery) consultative meeting, as well as the NGO Platform meeting of La Strada International, held in Rome from April 5-7, 2011.

Training of regional monitoring teams, Mostar april 19-20, 2011

Training on "Guidelines on the Treatment of the Regional Monitoring Teams (RMT) to combat TiP in BiH", organized by the Office of the State Coordinator for Combating TiP (OoSC) and CRS (Catholic Relief Services), which is supported by USAID, was held in Mostar from April 19-20, 2011. Representatives of our Association also took part in it.

From May 31- 3 June 2011 “Novi put” staff attended Outreach Work Seminar organized by NGO La Strada Czech Republic.

Activities

Training for MoI HNC, MoI WHC and SIPA held in Mostar

On 25 and 26 August 2011 NGO „Novi put“ and La Strada Czech Republic organized a training on the premises of the SOS Kinderdorf in Mostar (Rade Bitange bb) for members of Ministry of Interior of Herzegovina Canton (MoI HNC), Ministry of Interior West Herzegovina Canton (MoI WHC) and State Information Protection Agency (SIPA).

Prevention and Education Activities of Association „New Road“

Association „Novi put“ („New Road“) continues with prevention and education activities on the topic „Prevention of trafficking in persons in HNC“ in the areas of local communities Vrapčići, Bijelo Polje, Blagaj, Drežnica and municipality Čapljina, in the period from October until December 2011.
